Bomber Jacket - Topshop
Jumper - Topshop
Todays ootd has to be one of my favourites, purely based on the monochrome look. I've been looking for a sheer jumper and I've found one. This semi-sheer knitted jumper is amazing. Mainly because of the solid block panel on the chest, so there is less hassle of wearing a top or bralett underneath. The light-weight jumper goes perfectly with the paisley skirt. I love the print and the detailing of the lace on the bottom of the skirt. Adding my black ankle boots and my Mulberry shoulder bag wasn't the final touch. I was undeceive on whether to add gold or sliver jewellery. But, I went for a silver hand piece to finish off the look.

I know what you guys are thinking. Mandy?? Where have you been for the past 2 weeks... Trying to balancing both university and blogging is hard work (bad excuse I know), but I'm working on it! Maybe that should be my new years resolution, what do you guys think?

Now, I always think that investing in good quality coat is worth the money. I've recently purchased this wool coat, and I'm obsessed with it. The oversized look goes great with everything. The texture and colour gives it a unique look to it, which I always look out for when buying clothes, shoes and accessories. I would definitely size down for this, but if your like me and love the baggy and oversized look, then go for your normal size.

Duster Coat - Boohoo
Top - Topshop
  Skirt - River Island
  Boots - Asos
Scarf - Newlook
Bag - Zara
Necklace - Asos
If you guys saw my wardrobe, you would notice how there isn't much colour in it. So I thought I might as well add to it with this black leather skirt. Every girl needs a leather skirt wouldn't you agree? This River Island skirt is easily worn in any weather and occasion, worth it right? Pricing at £25 you couldn't go more wrong. I've definitely made this my go to outfit. Adding a crop top, duster coat and a few accessories and your good to go.

Tartan is considently coming in and out of the fashion scene, and there is no doubt that it won't be big this winter! This tartan scarf (which I have been wearing non stop), is something that goes with anything. New Look have done a great job creating a double sided pattern scarf, wouldn't you agree? One side is a pinky tartan pattern. However, I've got to say I am loving the monochrome look on the other side. Both of these can be wore with completely different outfits. Definitely a must buy!

Wet look leggings - Mango
I've been trying to find some more jumpers, now that the weather is a bit more colder. While browsing on Urban Outfitters site, I came across this split jumper. Now it's not the warmest of all jumpers, but compared to the rest of them it's different. I'm always up for finding unique and out there clothes, to give my style some edge to it. Pricing at £40 (20% off for students though!!), I don't regret buying this, as its now my go to piece in my wardrobe. Definitely an investment, wouldn't you agree?

NARS Lipstick - Liv
I have FINALLY found an Autumn lipstick (thanks to NARS). I've heard such good things about NARS products, so I thought I would give them a go. I've got to say, I'm super pleased how this product turned out. I would describe the colour as a deep red, you can build on the colour if you want it more darker. One issue that I always have with lipstick, is that they don't last for long. Until I found this, I've had no issue with this. Would definitely recommend.

What lipstick are you loving for Autumn/Winter?

Hand piece - Missselfridge
Necklace - Topshop
Even though were in the colder months of the year, I'm still trying to get my legs out even if the weather is a bit crazy at the moment! I live in oversized and baggy clothing, so this shirt dress was perfect for me. I felt that the dress would be better for a casual look rather then a dressy. So I paired it with some very dirty converse as well as a few accessories.

Whats your favourite type of dress?

Jumper - Topshop
Hand piece - Miss selfridge
When deciding to take pictures for my blog, it started to rain, so I had to improvise guys (the umbrella is out). One of my favourite purchase this Autumn, is definitely this faux fur gilet from Missguided. It can easily be thrown on top of any day and night outfits. I love how super cosy and warm you feel because thats all we want to be in this unpredictable weather... WARM! Pricing at £35 with 10% student discount, reducing it to £31.50, I would say the quality of the gilet is standard. The length of the gilet is what mostly attracted me to getting it. I've been trying to find a mid-length gilet (which was super hard to find one I like). I've paired the gilet, with a grey high turtle neck. Adding skinny knee ripped jeans and black chelsea boots with a bit of gold accessory.

Whats your thought on fur gilets?

Since coming into Autumn, I've definitely noticed a change in my outfits. Meaning, I've been wearing more darker colours (black, grey, karki and burgundy). I'm definitely deciding what to wear based on the weather. So most of the time it's quite an edgy vibe, which I'm liking... a lot!!

Whats your current outfit vibe?

Backpacks have been a massive trend this year, theres no doubt about that. I've had my eye on the Le Pliage for so long, but kept resisting to buy it. But when I was asked what I wanted for my birthday, this was at the top of my list. Now for some of you, your mostly thinking... Mandy, this really isn't worth £59!! But I loved it soo much, its too cute not to have. I love how you can chose what colour you want and I can easily use this on a day to day basis.

What do you guys think of backpacks?

Firstly, apologies for the lack of post this month, I've been super busy with University, working and celebrating my birthday. As by the title of this post, I bet you can guess it was my birthday this week. Yesterday I celebrated my 20th birthday. I'm no longer a teenager (crying face). To be honest, I wasn't really looking forward to my birthday this year... maybe because I'm in my twenties now, and I just don't want to grow up. I want to be young forever! Despite that, I had an amazing few days celebrating with my closest friends. So I thought I would give you a little update as to whats been happening recently. BUT... don't worry, there will be a new OOTD post coming on Monday.

Hope you have a lovely weekend and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Crop Top - H&M
Rings - Topshop
From floor-length to knee-length, long cardigans are a fresh new trend this Autumn. I recently purchased this grey one from Missguided, as it is easily layered and super cosy, to keep you warm. Above I have paired it with a pair of high-waisted jeans and a striped crop top. Adding some heeled boots and jewellery to finish of the outfit.

What trend are you guys loving?

Eyeliner - Boots
When I think of top eyeliner, majority of girls can relate to one another that it is a struggle to apply. Now I know this product from soap and glory isn't new. Thou since having it for a couple of months, its definitely made doing top eyeliner easier. Especially for a winged look! Its super easy to apply because its like holding a felt-tip pen. It's long lasting effect is what I love about it. Compared to some liquid eyeliners, they tend to start looking dried up or begin to rub off. Thankfully, I've never had this issue with this product. The tip of the pen goes from thin to thick, allowing you to do various styles. Pricing at £6, I would definitely recommend this, it's a bargain for how good the quality is!

Has anyone else tried this eyeliner?
If so, what is your review on it ?

Skater shoes have been on my wish list for a long time, but I've never got around to buying them. Since my student loan has come in, I had no excuse not to get them. I thought I would go for a burgundy colour, instead of the plain old black. Only pricing at £20, I thought these were a bargain considering the how good the croc detailing is. They are super comfy and easily slipped on for busy days.
