Its nearly September now so I though this post would be most appropriate and helpful for those applying for university or going...

For those who are applying:
Now I bet you guys who are starting their last year of sixth form are thinking... OMG, I need to apply for uni because everyone else is or I need to decide what I want to do now. NO YOU DONT!! If you don't feel ready for university, theres no harm in taking a year out. You don't want to rush your decision and regret it when your not enjoying it or haven't picked the right course for you.

From my own experience when applying, it is a very stressful process, but the best advice I can give is not to leave it last minute. If you know what course and universities you want to apply for, then do this soon as. Also, If you have interviews for the course, prepare in advance, so you don't feel under pressure.

Top tips...

  • Be organised
  • Don't stress
  • If you need help make sure you ask someone (like teachers, family members or friends)

For those who are going university:
CONGRATULATIONS for those who got into university, you will have the best experience of your life! The amount of fun and laughter you will have is indescribable. When making friends, don't be scared to talk to anyone, don't forget everyone will be in the same position as you. Don't take first year too seriously, all you need to do is pass, its not that hard. Enjoy every minute of it because first year will go super quick, no joke!!

Top tips...

  • Enjoy it
  • Don't stress about work
  • Be confident

Good luck everyone :)
p.s if you have any questions, please feel free to ask

Biker Leather Jacket - Miss Selfridge
Jeans- Topshop
Checkered Shirt - Topshop
I'm soo happy that I can finally get these bad boys out again. My collection of boots continues to grow, and I don't think it will ever stop (HELP ME). These high knee boots are easily paired with anything, making them my go to shoes. I paired it with some jeans and a basic top. To put some edge and colour into it, I have a checkered shirt around my waist and a biker leather jacket on top. I didn't really feel the need to accessorise with this outfit, I only needed my Marc Jacob purse.

First of all, please ignore my ugly toes and feet! Now thats been said and is out of the way, lets carry on with the blog post. Now some of you will be thinking... WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY, but I hope others will agree that these metallic shoes are a statement piece. Its always good to have statement shoes which can bring an outfit together. I would definitley wear these if i was wearing jeans and a top or a plain dress, just to give some spice to the outfit. Do any of you guys have statement shoes? Check out my previous post to see how I styled them.

DUSTER COATS! I've been seeing these coats everywhere... and I have a feeling their going to be an even bigger trend when the weather gets a bit more colder. I have only recently purchased this, and I'm in love with it. It puts such an edgy effect on the outfit, that it can go with anything. I love the oversized look of it (I'm a massive fan of oversized clothing). I adore the lightweight look that Boohoo have created with this coat. Even though I went for the safe colour of black, sometimes having black layering makes it easier to be creative when pairing clothing.

Dungarees have been on trend since last year... and they are still going strong this year. The one thing I love about dungarees is that you can dress them however you like in any season or occasion. Below are three inspired looks, hope you like it...
p.s I guess you can tell that I have a slight obsession with Topshop as basically everything is from there!

Top - H&M
Necklace - Topshop
Rings - Topshop
Does anyone agree that wearing a statement top makes life way more easier? You could simply wear everything black and the top would just make the outfit. I'm literally obsessed with this mustard top and just the colour mustard in general. It definitely suits a tanned complexion and is easy to accessorise. Whats your statement colour guys?

Leather Jacket - Miss Selfridge
Jumper - Topshop
Dress - Zara
Tights - Primark
Necklace - Miss Selfridge
Is anyone else going insane over this weather? Everyone knows that England's weather is very unpredictable. One minute its windy with heavy rain, the next the sun is shinning. This is one thing I get easily stressed about! I never know what to wear... those who live in England wouldn't you agree?

I think the best solution for this is to just layer up... meaning if the weather changes at any point you can always take off or put on clothing. For this outfit of the day, I have gone for a long sleeved dress, with a  jumper over the top. It was quite windy today, so I put some thick tights and a comfy leather jacket on (just on the safe side).

I always think the idea of not knowing what to do is way more exciting then planning your day. Since being back home from university, I have been super BORED! Living in Manchester for the past year, then coming back home is a massive difference. Manchester is a city and where I come from is a small town.

The other day, me and two of my friends took a train to London for the day. Not even exaggerating, it was one of the best days I've had for a while. We had no real plan as to where we wanted to go, other then to explore London more. Ive never really done that. Usually, I go shopping, eat and then come home, so it was really nice to be a tourist for the day.

Guys! I would definitely advise you to try it one day. Every idea we had was spontaneous, which made it even more fun. Although, my feet were throbbing by the end of the day (crys inside).

Hat - Topshop
Rings - Rocknrose
Necklace - Asos
Bag - Zara
Lately, I'm loving the idea of just wearing something simple, like this denim dress. Is it me or is it easier making a statement outfit with just using accessories? I feel It definitely gives a different edge to the outfit, and changes it up a bit.
